Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2 sticks
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Mix-ins
  • 1 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring a smooth and even mixture. Then add the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles, white chocolate chips, and optional rainbow sprinkles.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheets, leaving ample space between each for spreading.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Using room temperature ingredients helps create a creamy batter. Try additional mix-ins like nuts or different types of chocolate. A cookie scoop can ensure uniformity in shape and size.
