- Chop onion and bell peppers into small pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add onions and sauté until translucent.
Cooking
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks until browned (about 7-8 minutes).
- Stir in bell peppers, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in canned tomatoes with their juices and simmer on low for about 10 minutes to meld flavors.
Serving
- Top with chopped cilantro or parsley before serving.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for longer storage. Reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave.
